We had a great view over Istanbul. The small informative descent in the tower is also great. Unfortunately, there are no toilets on site

The view was amazing. I'm glad we arrived very early. Unfortunately the workers looked bored the whole time. They did not smile.
The experience was great, a little too expensive. Interesting story, nice view of the old city, I think it worth the money. The instructions were somehaw confusing , was cleared up by the online assisent .
Pretty good view of part of the city. Not worth the money paid
We had to stand 2 hours in the line to get in while we paid extra for skip the line tickets.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience in 3 main attractions, Hagia Sophia / Topkapi Palace / Basilica Cistern!
It was a very nice experience and the information in the audio guide was great! Tip: download it before you go in as there is no network downstairs and bring your own headphones.

The place is breathtaking...you can't imagine what you are about to see and, of course, pictures of the place are not the same as seeing the cistern live and direct. It is an exciting, moving place, so full of history. A not very long visit that allows you to be in the historic district of Istanbul with the Hagia Sophia and Sultanhamet mosques and the Topkapi Palace, as neighbors. In addition, a cool place that helps to coexist with the heat of the city. It has a good back-up auditory.

Thr queue was way to long so booking online was great. We did have help to do the online booking by one of the ladies working there. The cistern was amazing. The history of Istanbul is one to behold. Loved it
Magnificent site, spellbinding story!

The lines were extensive to enter the Basilica Cistern , so having the beat the line pass was essential
It was really easy to get in, no queues and no problems.

Very easy to access, beautiful historic building amongst a busy city, highly recommend visiting
Fast access without queues and possibility of Audioguide in Spanish offline

It is really worth seeing, impressive and amazing.

Just as it says when you buy them. No queues.

The Basilica Sistern is a fascinating look at an architectural feat/water, filtration system. Advanced ticket purchase and skip line enabled me to walk in when it first opened and there were a few people about so I was really able to take my time and enjoy the sites.
Cistern basilica was worth it but the Hagia Sophia Mosque was not. Sloppy. I know it has nothing to do with those selling tickets but I would not recommend this experience. Only the cistern.

The lines at haghia sofia were very long (there was no skipping of lines). Also the audio guides are difficult to navigate and are not in sybch with the panels in the rooms. It would be helpful to have better signage on sites
I marked that I had children but because they were under 7, did not receive tickets. The venue then required me to go get the free children tickets before entering.
The speed at the entrance. There are 3 lines, and in ours when we took the ticket online, there was no one. We entered without waiting for anything.

really well worth booking a skip the line ticket . We pretty much walked straight instead of joining a rather long queue. Make sure you download every ticket onto your phone so they can scan you in . The local internet is not great .
We liked the possibility to skip the queue - especially in Cisterna and Hagia Sophia. In Turkey things look chaotic, but finally everything works. The entrance to Topkapi Palace was complicated to us - the neccessity of hunting the host who would bring us to the second courtayrd was contraintuitive. Fortunately, we found very helpful guy, who managed the entrance, finally.
It's really skip the line tickets. Just show and go. Everything works perfectly. But we didn't find Audio guide in the Basilica. That was sad. And the most sad is that you have an access to the second floor of Haiga Sofia. Not to the first floor as well. To estimate the space of the entire building is only possible with the access to the first floor. But if you're not a Muslim than you have just only second floor. Which is pretty good because of ancient mosaics but doesn't gives you the full picture. If you don't have your own gawn or scarf it will be provided by the property (single used) free.
Skip the line at Agya Sophia is unnecessary because you have to queue for security check anyway and then enter directly. The audio guide is good and easy to follow. I had problems with the audio guide for the Basilica Cisterna but since I realized before the trip that I could not access, the customer service solved the problem in time so everything worked properly.
View original review in Italian
Cisterna was an amazing sight to see. One problem was that we did not know we had to listen to our "paid" audio on our own phone. I did not have earphones with me. Ticket sellers need to explain this better.
The reservation is very easy to make. The attraction is spectacular. The cost seemed high in relation to similar sites in Europe. However, it is worth to visit it.

The Basilica Cistern was wonderful and would highly recommend , we skipped the queue swiftly. We unfortunately had a long wait in the queue for Agia Sophia, it was good to see but I found it a little disappointing.
As there is no free WiFi and tourists do not have mobile data at their disposal. Such sights should offer free WiFi.

We had to wait for the ship for 30minutes, but after that was everything perfect, the dinner was fantastic, and the programes was awesome! I would go again!
This skip-the-line ticket with an audio guide to Galata Tower was absolutely worth it! The audio guide was packed with fascinating history and fun facts. The panoramic views of Istanbul from the top were breathtaking! A must-do experience for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommended!
No explanations about the area we passed, main focus on live performance which was nice, the artists did a great job, music was way too loud
A wonderful way to end our trip in Istanbul. We had a great time and a great dinner. To repeat! Highly recommended!

The performances were beautiful and the team was hospitable. Very quick in replying to any queries I had. It was indeed a lovely experience
The cruise went very well. The atmosphere was great from start to finish, with a succession of shows throughout the meal. We had a table for just the two of us, against the window, which was very nice.

They tried to scammed me. Charging me more for a beer and a wine for mi wife. They told me not cards allowed but i saw people paying with them. Only cash they said Then his maths didn't work, we wanted me to payed 1,500 tyr and changed the price of the beer and wine until it was 1,500
The food was really good, unlike the other cruise dinners I have experienced previously. The entertainment was excellent. The cruise ship was well maintained.
The cruise inside was tightly packed, I wish there was gap between tables, and I also recommend the place where the events happening like dances is too small, if you sit at the end of the hall you hardly can see what is happening, not a good experience and won't recommend the cruise thru you.
Very good show and nice staff. The food was good as well. However the option with alcohol is not illimited. It's 2 drinks per person, the description on the website is wrong and the staff knows it. Overall nice experience though.
Very nice evening with good food and a very friendly waiter. The show was appealing, but the music was too loud. The views of the two bridges and the beautiful villas on the shore are very nice. An experience.

Loved the cruise and the views around the Bhosphorus. It is cheaper if you book online and the management arranges for your pick up and drop off if you have chosen the package with the transfer option. The meal was nice, drinks were unlimited and we loved the entertainment. It is a bit expensive but I would definitely recommend trying this.
The tour was amazing, staff was also friendly , great vibes around, we had a great time and we will definitely do it again!
Excellent show considering price paid. Dancers were vey professional and participated a lot to provide good entertainment.Very nice atmosphere and organization.Just one less good experience about the table service.
I loved the cruise experience, the food was good, the dances as well. The service was very good, Cagla and Yunus were very kind with me. Recommend! The view is the best thing!
I went to the cruise on 1st Jan 2025 and this was amazing the staff was highly professional and they respect customer and their needs. I had a baby and the shifted me to upper deck without any problem and served me and my family with the best of their options. My server was Hanifi, he helped me to settle in and was at toes all time to fulfil my wishes and request. Really appreciate.Cagla, was the manager and she made every effort to make the trip a memorable one by accomodating with the best of the services she couldReally enjoyed ecery bit of the cruise and i feel my investment was fully utilized in a positive way
Environment is lit, lots of energetic performances showcasing rich Turkish culture, people who are drinking are having fun. Food is 4/10. Make sure your reservation includes alcohol because once you get onboard ordering drinks is going to be very expensive. Staff is a bit rude and service poor.
Pleasant evening cruise on the Bosphorus Excellent organization Staff very attentive to service SUPER entertainment show One cannot' leave Istanbul without experiencing this exceptional experience Bravi Sultan Cruise!!!!!

Great place. Good food, excellent service and nice people. The show was wonderful and the food is OK. I just think cpuld be better if the windows weren't to tarnished, because we cannot appreciate the view, but we understand because it's winter. We celebrate my mother's bday and was a good experience.
Lots of history and excellent view of the city
The food was great. The performances were superb. The ambience is amazing.

We bought skip the line tickets the night before for €33.50 each. The next day, Sunday, we went along at 2pm and didn't have to queue at all. Hagia Sophia is spectacular, well worth seeing. We are not Muslim so could only see from first floor balcony which wraps all the way around but you still get a good view of it
I finally got to visit the great Hagia Sophia. While getting to explore the upper level was a blessing, I don't understand why the lower level is off limits. Even the Blue Mosque is open to non-Muslims. If I had gotten to explore the lower level, my visit would have been perfect. This is not Headout's fault, but something that is on my mind.
Thanks to the queue-cutting ticket, we were able to enter Saint Sophia easily. We visited the second floor, as the ground floor is a place of prayer. It's a place where Catholic and Muslim cultures meet. What to see
View original review in French
This is the third time I've visited the Hagia Sophia, the first time as a mosque. It's a shame that you can't see the dome from the center, i.e. from the first floor. But the visit is definitely worth it. Booking tickets in advance was an advantage, even if the crowds weren't that big in the morning.
View original review in German
We loved Hagia Sophia, it is beautiful in its aesthetics, its architecture and its history. But we had to wait in line anyway, about 25 minutes to get in.

A sublime place. Adults and children were in awe

The art and the ease of buying the ticket
It was good not to have to stand in line. It was just a shame that I couldn't visit the mosque because of the prayer time.

I loved seeing St Sophia, but there were so many guards that I felt insecure because my every move was being watched.
View original review in French
It's easy to book, so there's no need to queue, and the price is very reasonable. As for the visit to St. Sophia, it's of course exceptional, even if we regret not being able to go to the first floor!
View original review in French
Security wait too long. No access to ground floor. Carpeted floor hides original stonework. It's a real shame the building is less beautiful than before and not worth the price charged.
View original review in French
Too many queues outside the museum, with queue-cutting tickets, no regularization of visitor flows No access to the ground floor since the museum became a mosque Very disappointing for the exorbitant price. Other camitales
View original review in French
Jamia is a mix of Christianity and Islam. The ticket price is high for a 45-minute visit. The queues are too big for a ticket, on 2.may it was expected to be from two sets of tickets per ticket without a queue.

It is nice, a touristic place to know about how 2 different cultures were combined. Having the skip the line was great to avoid the purchase tickets lane and then the line to go inside. They have a free audio guide in Hagia Sophia, with free internet so don't buy any additional service for it, just make sure you bring your earphones.
There was no mention of a fast-track ticket. You just save yourself the trouble of buying a ticket on site. You still have to join the queue. A waiting time of around 30 minutes is not fast-track entry after all. Consolation: it's worth it though. The Hagia Sophia is well worth a visit.

Visit Ok....Even after Hagia Sophia closed due to earthquake, we were allowed entry the day after the booked date
View original review in Italian
Buying tickets in advance meant I didn't have to queue on the spot (but early in the morning the queue is moderate...) Negative point: the timetables provided by Headout are both contradictory and inutally worrying: in fact you can turn up at any time at the entrance with the QR code and... that's it (there's no guide provided anyway -- except your smartphone as long as it can access the network).

I was very disappointed. It is not a museum anymore, it is just a mosque now. Hagia Sophia was wonderful museum before, a unique combination of historical and cultural heritage. Now it is just a money machine for foolish foreigners, you can not see anything because the usual visitors paying to see nothing. Before I used to love going back. I will wait to turn to museum again before visit it again.
My visit to Hagia Sophia was good... but Headout should rename this offer. You DO skip a line (a relateively short one at the ticket office), but you WILL stand in the much loonger line (that wraps around the block) to actually get in. All that said, the onloine ticket worked fine.
Mosque is impressing! But we should.have known from the beginning that we needed to wait for a group until able to enter.
The abandonment of the monument and the fact that entry to the main temple is only allowed to Muslims. Very sad. Monuments belongs to Humanity , not to religions.
Hagia Sophia very impressive. The lower level (first floor) can only be visited by Muslims. Skip the line is actually pointless, as the bottleneck is the security checkpoint, which of course cannot be "skipped".
View original review in German
The Cistern Basilica is of course absolutely unique and well worth a visit. However, it has nothing to do with Headout and everyone has a skip the line ticket. In this respect, it's nothing special. Hence the average rating - you don't benefit from a skip the line ticket

The biggest highlight of the Galata Tower is its breathtaking, 360-degree views of Istanbul. From the top, you can admire the surrounding buildings all the way to the city’s coastline along the Bosphorus, including landmarks like the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque. The tower’s strategic location offers a unique perspective on Istanbul’s old and new, capturing vivid scenes from the bustling city on one side and the historic peninsula on the other.
Galata Tower viewsThe Tower of Galata is steeped in history, having played a crucial role in Istanbul’s defense system since the 13th century. Originally built by the Genoese as a part of their fortified colony in 1348, the tower went on to serve as a watchtower and a fire tower in the subsequent eras. The tower is also linked to the legend of Hezarfen Ahmed Celebi, who is said to have flown from the tower using artificial wings in the 17th century.
Galata Tower historyOnce a Byzantine church, then an Ottoman mosque, and now a museum, the Hagia Sophia is a standing testament to the city’s storied history. Its massive dome and minarets are visible from the top of the Galata Tower.
The Topkapi Palace, once the seat of Ottoman sultans, is a sprawling complex with lavish rooms and a collection of Islamic relics and imperial treasures. From the tower, you can spot the palace's grand silhouette overlooking the Bosphorus Strait.
Known for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and six minarets, the Blue Mosque is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. You can spot the mosque’s domes and minarets from the top of the tower, standing proudly on Istanbul’s historic peninsula.
The Golden Horn is a prominent natural harbor and waterway dividing the European side of Istanbul, visible from the top levels of the Galata Tower. Historically, it served as a major trading port and defensive barrier for Byzantine and Ottoman navies.

Pro tip:
The entrance to the Galata Tower is located at the base of the tower. It is situated in the Karakoy district of Istanbul. After getting off at the Sishane metro station, walk down Kemeralti Caddesi towards Galip Dede Street, a popular pedestrian street. As you keep walking downhill, you will spot the tower, rising above the surrounding buildings.
If you are coming from Istiklal Avenue, head towards Tunnel Square, towards the end of Istiklal. From there, it is a short walk to Galip Dede Street, a few minutes away from the tower. When walking towards the building, you will spot the Galata Mevlevi Museum, home to the Mevlevi Order of the Whirling Dervishes. The Galata Tower Bridge is also a short, 5-minute downhill walk from the tower. The bridge spans the Golden Horn and is visible from the tower entrance.
Choose between 3 types of Galata Tower tickets- entry tickets with an audio guide, afternoon walking tours, and combo tickets. If you are short on time, we recommend booking the Galata Tower entry tickets. For a detailed tour, go for the Galata and Genoese walking tours. The combo tickets are a perfect, budget-friendly option for anyone looking to explore other attractions in the city.
No, all Galata Tower tickets include access to all levels of the tower and the Galata Tower Museum. You do not need separate tickets to browse through the medieval artifacts and restored miniatures. Make sure to stop by the interactive exhibits for a more comprehensive understanding of the watchtower and its role in Istanbul’s past.
Book Galata Tower afternoon walking tours and go on a tour around the Galata and Genoese districts. The tour includes an expert, English-speaking guide to acquaint you with the history of the area.
The Galata and Genoese Districts guided walking tour takes around 3 hours and includes a detailed walk-through of the watchtower and its surrounding areas. The tour also includes a professional guide, a shopping stop at Istiklal Caddesi, and a visit to the Camondo Steps.
The Galata Tower combo tickets are perfect for anyone looking to explore the city in-depth. With a one-time purchase, you can enjoy skip-the-line access to the Basilica Cistern, or the Hagia Sophia, or go on a Bosphorus sightseeing cruise, and save almost 10% to 20% money as compared to individual ticket prices.
While you can book Galata Tower tickets anytime before your visit, we recommend purchasing them at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
The observation deck of the Galata Tower is on the 9th floor of the building, meaning no matter the temperatures below, the top of the tower is always extremely windy. Dress in layers, if you are planning a visit between November and December. And, apply sun protection and wear a light jacket, if you visit during the spring and summer months.
Yes, the Galata Tower offers an express elevator that takes you straight up the observation deck in just a few minutes. However, the elevator only goes until the 7th floor. You have to walk up a narrow staircase to the 9th floor to enjoy panoramic views of the city.
The Galata Tower is partly wheelchair-accessible. The tower’s express elevator only goes to the 7th floor, whereas the observation deck is on the 9th floor. While you can enjoy stunning views of the city from behind a glass pane, if you have limited mobility, you cannot walk up to the observation deck on the 9th floor.
